This time in two weeks, Ill be chilling with my buddies in Charlotte. One chapter in my life closed, while another is just beginning. Excited to start a new, not so excited to leave the people in Columbia. confused

Sorry but I never lived in PA. I'm from Milwaukee, WI and lived there for the first 22 yrs of my life. Now I live in Georgia and I really don't like it.

What's funny is I did get accepted to the University of Pittsburg before I graduated from High School. I was so close to going there but I chose Univ of Minnesota instead.

Anyway enough of my history......so is there a girl that loooks like me that you know or something?

I know a few people like that. I think there's several factors: acting like nothing's wrong MAKES nothing wrong. If they "forgive" their attackers, they get to have that moral superiority, in their minds. It's part of the martyr mindset--look at me, I've been through so much and yet I'm still so great and forgive everyone. My mother is like this. There's also a bit of self-loathing in there...they can't believe the attacker is a bad person, no matter what they did, and they believe they deserved it, on some level...so they MUST talk to them.

This isn't coming out as clearly as I meant for it to...is it making sense? confused

I dont believe in God. I believe in myself. I believe in the people that I surround myself with. If God isnt here with me now, then its just another thing that will eventually let me down.

I think that's totally healthy. I don't believe in God either, I wasn't raised religious at all. I have respect for those who do have faith but I find that they often blaim God of their higher being for things that were completely their fault. And say....God will save me....when they have the means to save themselves but they are too lazy.

Obviously this isn't everyone...just some.

What a crazy word/idea. "Getting your hopes up". I try to never get my hopes up. Why? When you expect the least from a person and/or situation and it fails you, youre not disappointed because you didnt expect anything. Its almost September, that means its almost time to move to Charlotte. Im excited, although there are some awesome people that I will miss from work. And god damn Im addicted to surfing SG. the members pics are almost as hott as the SG girls! good lord....
