And then edited to add again, because this was on my mind all day today and I was trying to think of how to write it down.
Take chances. It could hurt. It could hurt really bad. But it could also have the greatest reward of all time. You could be happier beyond belief. Nothing is a sure bet in life. You have to take chances, on situations and people. Just because some people aren't good and some hurt you, doesn't mean all will and doesn't mean all are bad. Learn to live life freely. Freely meaning without fear of being hurt, without fear of being made fun of, without the paralyzing fear of giving a damn about what others think. Live your life for you, not for religion, other people, politics or fashion. Live it for YOU.

I freeze up on quizzes and tests and need some help D:

75% is my highest quiz score in Bio even though I take a shitton of notes and study my ass off.

Anyone got any ideas? I know I understand the material because on the daily shit I get 100% on them. Quizzes just freak me out.

I don't think of this as strategy. But learning how to read your teacher is always good in any class because some of them just give the test or quiz questions away. Some teachers slow down their speaking if they really want you to get something. Others show a lot of enthusiasm for one part of their lesson even when the rest of the class is bored stiff. That's when you know what notes to take. I used to just write nearly everything the teacher said and I did poorly as a result.

Study with a friend, we learn the best while we teach. Try to explain what you are learning to someone who will listen, your brain will retain it more. That's what always helps me and my major is biochemistry/cosmology.
