Well today is the day that the whole world looks upon us for success and entertainment. As a walk the streets this morning there is a festive and united buzz. the sound of vuvusela's fill the air, the gentle flick of the South African flag and the spirit raises the clouds. A country with all its differences stands together and supports an event that will never be forgotten by us. the pressure can be felt for those still working on there final touches and the anticipation drips from the public's lips like sticky chocolate sauce, enjoying every drop. gold a green floods the streets reading themselves for a spectacular friday!

The nations commitment is real! The atmosphere is spreading and the worries are lifting. You cant help but feel the need to invite your closest friends for a braai, gather as many friends and acquaintances to the local pub to support the common goal. People are arriving in Soweto 5 hours early to get parking and move in toward the stadium. the Shabeens are pumping and the car guards are making a small fortune. the beer is flowing while an entire countries economy grinds to a halt.
