For those who’ve been following, I’ve been applying to a trade school to become a heavy equipment operator. Yesterday, I got the results of my oral interview, and with the score of my aptitude test figured in.....I placed 9th out of 10 on their waiting list. Now I need to look into my CDL and OSHA.

Get the CDL -A with Haz-Mat. The TWIC's card is handy too. With these there are alot of Temp gigs available when the Heavy Equipment slows down. The TWIC card lets you into Ports of Entry: ie shipping ports, airports, military bases & with a Pass Port - Borders. ( 29 years Class A ). Best of Luck
