Right, so my car's fucked up.

It's been leaking about a gallon of coolant per day (and I'll choke the first PETA monkey to flame me about leaking coolant all over).

A few weeks ago I narrowed it down to the fill tank/reservoir. Today I finally broke down and yanked the reservoir out.

Sure enough...



If you look to the left of my finger, you'll see a dark black line running vertically. That's a crack in the underside of the reservoir. I have no idea how it got there (It's plastic, so I'm guessing it just wore out from the heat and pressure).

So now I have to go find a replacement radiator tank. Hopefully I can find a junkyard around here with a wrecked-out Taurus. If not, I may just jack the one off my dad's Sable. Hell, it'll fit, and it's a company car, so he won't have to pay for the replacement.
