Right, so I'm going to see Mindless Self Indulgence tonight at the Galaxy club. MystieDawn bought me a ticket *woot*, and she (and a couple friends) are driving in from San Angelo to see the show. I'm kinda worn out from work, but I doubt I'll sleep between now and then. Anyway, I'll see if I can get my camera phone in and snap some pics.
Oh, and I somehow managed to lose my labret ring at work. I had taken it out around 05:00 to avoid the wrath of one of my managers. When I sat down in the breakroom after work (around 07:30), I couldn't find the damn thing. Went back to look for it. Nothing. So I said fuckit and headed to the car. I decided I had better put something through it to retain the hole. I kept a 14g captive bead in it (as you can tell from the pictures), but the only spare jewelry I had in my car was 10g-6g. So I went for some impromptu gauging. The 10g tusk seemed the safest bet, as it tapers off to a point on either end. i managed to get it 1/4 of the way through, then had to really bear down on it. But it went. And so did a long string of fairly offensive language. Anyway, if I can track down a CBR that's big enough, I'll keep it at 10. Done for now.
