So yeah, yesterday was a long day. Got to work with the intention of finishing the five mods I had to do. For those who don't speak Walmartish, mods are, in layman's terms, a request (read: demand) from corporate to reset or modify a section of shelving in the store. These are in 4-foot sections (base shelf up to top shelf, 4-feet across). An example would be the 16' of canned dog food I had to completely rearrange. Math ensues:
4 foot wide section x 7 shelves, top to bottom, in each 4' section x 4 sections total = 112' of shelving
That was one of the mods.
There was also the 32' laundry detergent one, the 20' stationery, and the 12' baby formula. Sadly, I didn't get to the 16' kitchen utensils or the 36' diaper mods.
All in all, I worked 17 hours yesterday, and left at approximately 12 last night.
Then I had to wake up at 7 for an 8:30 job interview with Hertz. That went well, as interviews go.
Long story short, I look pretty damn cracked out today.
