I went to see F/911 today, and it made me very angry and sad. I thought parts of it were a little corny, but it is a Michael Moore film. The parts with the grieving mother were especially hard for me to watch. My conclusion is that it is not the grand achievement some say it is, but it should definitely be on everyone's must see list if you are at all concerned with what is going on in this country.

I'm not the most politically active person in the world, but I will definitely vote in the upcoming election. What's more, I registered myself as a Democrat, not because I think it's such a better party, but I did it as my own personal protest to Bush. I know I could vote against him no matter what party I am in, but I just feel that any vote that is not for Kerry is not really against Bush because nobody else has a chance to win.

On another note, when I was waiting in line this morning to drop off my car for service, another customer waiting at the counter cut a huge, loud fart. He was a sort of hippyish looking fella, pretty large and around 40 years old. It totally grossed me out. Not because I don't like or appreciate farts, in the proper context. But in a public place around a bunch of strangers it's just not right. After he did it, I suddenly became fearful he would finish his business quickly, and I would be called on next (there were two different counters I could have been helped at). I dreaded the very thought of trudging through a noxious cloud of this man's ass vapors. Fortunately, I was called to the other couter and thus did not have to face this torture.
