How crazy do you think that my classmates think I am, judging from this intro post about myself to my class!?
First, and foremost I'm going to apologize if there are any mistakes grammar or spelling in this brief post of mine. I've never had a knack for the written/typing form of English, honestly I don't know what possesses you English majors out there but it must be something fierce. My name is Ryan Moore and I'm from Royal Oak, Michigan. To describe myself in sort-of one word I'd say that I'm a Jack-Of-All-Trades. Although some people may call me a jack-of-other-sorts. I'm into a vast variety of things, but mostly I'm into music; specifically the Genesis of Rock and Roll (great class by the way)and a firm believer that "Music is Revolution." The very close but second items to music would be a combination of muscle cars, fixing things, lock-picking, the environment, and civil disobedience.
Note: Everyone don't try and hit the tab key on this page it doesn't move the cursor 5ish spaces over, real pain in the butt.
Alright back to reality, the decision to teach came through personal life changes of mine ranging from the political spectrum all the way to my own behavior during my public education experience. Teaching though is an outlet through with I have deemed the best way to open people's eyes to the big world around them, and to instill a philosophy of being objective to the outside world. No more, no less.
I could go on to explain many other personal philosophies and bore all of you to death with my insistent ramblings, but I'll leave it up to your imaginations and you can draw your own conclusions. I'm looking forward for great discussions and debates, that I see happening throughout this semester!
