I try to live life without subscribing to many cliches. I, for the most part, strike my own path and think for myself.
One thing though...I hate Mondays. Yes, I know Garfield has been kvetching about it for 25 years, and even Bob Geldof & the Boomtown Rats were able to sing about "I Don't Like Mondays", but to quote "Office Space": "Looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays!" and that someone is me.
It was an exceptionally relaxing and pleasant weekend. I had the house to myself up until last evening. Had the windows open...God, I've missed fresh air. Went out by myself last night and had a good time. Just one of those weekends where I come to realize that, despite the irritations and disappointments in life, I really do have a good life & have been pretty blessed along the way.
Then morning comes.
