I spent the weekend house-sitting for the folks as they went to visit my sister at university. It is weird to stay at the 'rents house now for some reason.
I got to spend lots of Quality Time with our dog. He is the BEST dog in the whole world!!! He is a Rot/Lab mix and he has no idea that he isn't a human. You can tell by the way that he looks at other dogs...he gives them this, "You are so pitiful" look. He totally thinks that I am his big brother and my parents are his Mom and Dad. I mean when family dynamics apply to the pets something has gone terribly wrong.
I have to talk to my boss this week to negotioate the terms of my promotion..ie, more money...and I am debating the best way to ask for a pretty substantial raise. I was considering bringing in a bank statement as proof of my poverty, but I am afriad that he just might laugh. How often can one donate blood plasma? And does one really need two kidneys?
