Yesterday sucked....big time.

I had to work a swimmeet in a country club and fuck...did it suck. The weather sucked for the first part. I had to get up at 5 AM to get there. And the equipment decided not to work every now and then.

Oh well...I guess that is a couple of hundred dollars for me, I guess.

On related note about the swimmeets, my dad went into the hospital (again for the 3rd time this summer) for an infection in his leg and a fever (it was 103 when he got to the hospital) last Wednesday. Normally, one would rest and concentrate on their health when they would get into a hospital, but not my dad. He called me a few times on Friday when we were setting up and on Saturday during the meet to make sure everything was going smoothly. That is right....he was more concerned about the meet more than his own health. I guess there is some admirable.....thingy.....for a trait like that. But he really doesn't need the money that bad...especially when it effecting his health.

Ugh....

Well, this weekend will be last one we will be doing this year (hopefully, he will become smart and not do it...but he is obsessed, not smart).

On a brighter note, I will be getting the collector's edition of Tekken 5 tomarrow...I guess we all have our obsessions.

Well, here is hoping your obsessions may not kill you!

PS. I kinda wish I bought GTA: San Andreas. I don't like the game, but the eBay price for it is high due to the recall and all. God dammit....
