So tomarrow, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero for the PC comes out. Whoop...de...fucking...do. I am know you most know how I feel about CS, but I hate it even more after this weekend. See, after I was able to get Unreal Tournament 2004 working, I had the chance to discover how it was really fucking amazing. It is everthing that UT2003 wasn't and more. Much much more. The content alone (5.5 gigs worth...and that is not movies) will keep you occupied and satisfied for a long time. So I tried to sell it to people I saw looking at CS: CZ's box. They all responded with: "It is funky looking," "It doesn't look realistic," and "I don't think that game really has too much to offer since there was a 2003 version." I wish they would realize you get 3 times the amount of content you get in UT2004 than you would get with CS. Eh, oh well...if they want to spend their money on the game they got already with not too many feature and just milking their franchise, why should I care?

On some brighter and more happy news, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow came out today at some stores. I just got back from my store and picked up a copy. No real impressions yet at this moment, but I will get to it sooner or later. Besides, if the game is anything like the first one was, then you know it will be good.

The process of me getting through drawings has slowed down. I blame video games. I am short on cash again. I blame video games again. On second thought, I blame the companies. Most of the great stuff doesn't come out until June or July, but this year....fuck, they came out early. Luckily, the next thing I plan on buying is coming out in May (Invader Zim vol. 1), and there shouldn't be anything to kill my wallet.

As for real life, well, things are still dull. Nothing happening around here in the burbs. Most of the people are too busy to do anything. I will be free until April 9 in terms of doing stuff, I got a lot of free time up. Spring break is next week. I wish I was able to go to New York like I originally planned, but due to money issues (that didn't surprisingly revolve around video games), I could make it. So it will just be animation work and video games for then. At least on April 9 I will be going to see Local H and then I got White Sox home opener on the 13th to keep me from complete boredom until ACEN in May.

I also been thinking about a past event that occured last month a lot again. Bad Mike. Stop thinking about that. That person is not worth it. *sigh* I read somewhere that Aquarius supposedly like to look back at the past. When I think about this, "like" is nowhere near the proper term I would describe my feelings about the event and the person involved...

Well, I am going to try out Splinter Cell now. I will let you all know how it is.

Two things I forgot:

If you can make it, make sure to check out ReiToei's band tomorrow at the Metro. 18+ and the tickets are free. I won't be able to go to that due to the fact everyone I know seems to busy that night.

Also at the Metro this Thursday: The Distillers. I might be going to this show with a friend who likes them (if she will be going, she still hasn't given me a full answer yet...wow, story of my fucking life...a friend who won't ever answer me, God, no wonder I am thinking about that event...at least this person will have the decency to CONTACT ME instead of leaving me hanging for 3 FUCKING HOURS and end up ditching me). Even if you don't like the band...hey, Brodie is hot. love Simple logic there.

...

Sorry for that little outburst, but I needed to get it out. Better to get it out than keep it in. And that is something I had in for over a month now.
porcelainheart:

i saw the distillers at cbgb's for five dollars. there were a bunch of angry lesbians down in the front near where i was and they kept telling us to punch the guys if they got too aggressive. yeah. smart cookie that girl was whatever .
Janine Garafalo (sp?) was there as were a few other rockstars (the dude from my chemical romance, and josh from QOTSA). so after the first song my two other friends and i made our way to the back (one girl i was with had just got her wisdom teeth out). and wound up right next to Janine and trying to figure out if we should talk to her. We did. she was super nice. but now i dont remember much of the distillers.
... i THINK they were good? haha.
