Man, I don't know why, but I felt cold all day today. And it wasn't even that bad today.

God, I decided I am giving up on my Intro to Anthropology class. You know, everyone says "Hey! Shouldn't that be interesting?" Yes. Yes it should. But my teacher manages to fuck it all up. In discussing anthropology on groups, we must examine them through the cultural universals. Apparently to her, gender roles is the only one she seems to pay attention to. Cause when she gets into the subject of the women, well, we go into a 20 minute lecture on how important this aspect of women were. Then we discuss the idea of food, back to the same speech on women, then on shelter, women, spiritual practices, women, medicine, wom...GOD DAMMIT!!! I can barely take it! There is more to the these cultures than the roles of women! You do not need to repeat that subject EVER 15 MINUTES!!!! I don't mean to sound mean or anything, but for fuck's sakes! Talk about something else...and not that stupid motivational email newsletter that "we all" should subscribe to. That guy is an idiot, and you are a moron for constantly telling us that he is wonderful. In fact, you lost me on him with the whole bending a spoon with your mind thing!
Damn, I needed to get that out of me. How will I get through these next 11 weeks of that class. After 5 minutes in that class, blood just wants to shoot out your nose. I think I discovered where aneurisms (spelled wrong) come from.
So personal question my fellow video gamers. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes? Or Unreal Tournament 2004?

I also played Counter-Strike for the first time in 2 months. And I realized that CS is the most overrated piece of shit ever. I heard a customer at my store complain about how Halo is unrealistic and will never be anything like CS, but what do you expect from a game in which you fight aliens on a mechinical ring that has an actual surface and atmosphere on it? Kind kills the whole reality thing there. But CS doesn't really offer anything that much. Sure, you get the whole "realism" thing, but lets all be honest people. Reality....fucking....sucks. And for that reason, CS sucks. Argue with me all you want, I will actually play a game that is fun...like Halo, Unreal, Star Wars: KOTOR, and Ninja Gaiden. Enjoy your little "counter-terrorists win" crappy fest.
Big summary for those you don't want to read all that: I hate Counter-Strike. It sucks.
Two big events for me coming up next month and another down the road:

Chicago White Sox opening day April 13
Anime Central (AKA DoRk FeSt) May 14-16
Nice actually make plans to go out other than sit on my ass playing video games. These should be fun. I can't wait. Especially ACEN. I will get to see some of my friends I haven't met in a while. It will be good to hang out with them again.
In the meantime, I will have some free time. So yeah, Chicago area people! Wanna do something? Just tell me by a comment, email through the contact thingy, or AIM me (even if I am away cause I will get back to you). The only problem is that I will have to find a way around not having a car...but I am sure I can find a plan.

*3/09/04 Update: God, my mouth is fucking killing me. Stupid dentist...at least I didn't get any cavities. Plus I stopped by work and picked up Zelda Collectors disc as well as check out a copy of MGS: The Twin Snakes. I will let you know how it is later tonight or tomarrow night (all depends on how much I play it and if I end up doing something).

yea.. i know what you mean... try siging up for an english class to find out it is a Women in literature class and you teacher is an ultra preacher of women being the stronger sex and stuff. she used me as some weird example every other day about how i work in a "mans" field and stay my ground... i was like listen lady... i work at a skate park and drink..if that's holding my "ground" then i dunno what to say...it was pretty weird...
