Well, all the thinking has died down. I actually got to work today (though it was a very short day due to slow sales). Also got rid of my GTA titles and Counterstrike for Xbox and traded it in for a new mouse that doesn't wheel scroll at random times and for Halo for the PC (got tired of people not wanting to play it).
I do consider it odd that I was in a Team Slayer (think deathmatch) game and it was me against two other people...who were either in a clan or starting up one (they were named Big Brother and Big Boss). I figured "what a nice way to get introduced to the PC version...getting owned online by clan vets." So I decided I was going to give them hell in a TS match where their were only 2 members on the red team...and I was the only one of the blue team.
And hell I gave them. While I had someone join in the game later on, he only got 3. The red team had about 14 kills all together. I had 20 myself. Jesus, my first time in a real online match and I fucking smoked them! The guys did get me at times, but they kept going for vehicle kills. That is how they got most of their kills. Luckily, I found that the teleporter led right to a Fuel Rod Cannon (think a plasma gernade launcher) and a rocket launcher....and it was fun knocking that jeep into the air and constantly shooting it until I saw their corpses fly out of it. GOD I BEEN MISSING OUT SO MUCH NOT PLAYING MULTIPLAYER ON XBOX!!! But all in all, not bad for a first time, huh?
Yeah, I really have NOTHING to talk about...sadly. God damn, I am dull.
In other new, I got my glasses and they look pretty nice if I say so myself, I only got about 2 days and 18 minutes until my 21st birthday, I start school on Monday (yay! Something to do!), and I can't get in contact with madamex, who has my ticket for the Burlesque show...here is hoping I can, so I don't have to try to get one the last minute...or miss the show only to end maybe going home.
As for the birthday, nothing is yet fully planned out for the actual day in stone, but it looks like I might see a movie downtown by myself...maybe Lost in Translation again, or Triplets of Bellevue, or City of God. Not fully sure yet. The real fun won't be until Friday night when a friend is going to take me to river boats out in Hammond, IN. and then to a strip club. Well, here is hoping I can practice conserving some money that day...and that the unlucky at love thing is true.
