Well, I was premature on my accusations. I did the get the stock job...but I will only work on weekdays...plus work the floor on weekends. Still better.
I played with the good old Penney's crew. It was my first real time I played Texas Hold 'Em...and I came in third place. The only reason they invited me was cause they needed a 7th player, but impressed I could provide a good challenge. Even more so, I surprised I did so well. I thought I was going to be out first.
Unfortunately, things didn't end well, upon getting home, I noticed a light was out. Right thing to do was change it. Well, I guess karma was not on my side as after I changed the bulb, the glass part that goes over the bulb shattered (must have tightened it too much. Got 7 cuts on my hands (4 of them pretty deep). While they don't really hurt (except my thumb) doesn't seem the best time to them...especially since I will be moving boxes. While I really won't be able to tell how much they hurt until morning, I figure if I was able to hold a controller in my hand or be able to type, I can handle the boxes by Monday. Seeing how I typed this, I am okay.
Well, with things seeming to be turning out well, I guess something bad had to happen. At least, no stitches are required yet (the cuts seemed to stopped bleeding only slight throbbing on the thumb).

thanks for the well wishes on my birthday, the party was a good time, and thanks for the props on the Mix, it somehow brought me back a little bit, it's weird. but definately all music i can place to memories right around my birthday.
