My favorite season is Autumn. The first reason is the name Autumn itself is beautiful. If I ever have a daughter that will be her name. I love this season not only for the beautiful colors and for the perfect weather, but also for the way this season makes me feel. I feel so calm and collected during this time. I am so inspired during this time, and feel I have the most energy and drive to accomplish my life goals. To me, this time of year hold a different kind of energy and it feels magical. My birthday, (September 1 in case you were wondering ;) ) while still technically in the summer season, kicks off this wonderful time of year for me.
My favorite holiday also falls during the Autumn months! Halloween has always and will always be my favorite. Do you know the reasoning behind the costumes? It all started with ancient Celtic festival Samhain. People would disguise themselves in costumes to hide from the spirits that could walk the earth freely on October 31. Spooky right?
Since moving to Las Vegas, I have not been able to experience the fall like I did as a kid living on the East of the United States, but that does not stop me from loving this season just the same.
Plus, going to Disneyland and meeting Jack and Sally was pretty amazing. The Haunted Mansions is also decked out in Nightmare Before Christmas!
