Hooray for holidays, because it means I get days like Friday and Sunday off (when usually I don't). This means partying Saturday night stress-free is possible. And that's exactly what I did last night!

Every saturday is goth night, and I wanted to go. My bf didn't (he's shy and not into crowded places) which made me sad but I was like "I'm going by myself then!" Hah! Yeah, I did... I arrived alone anyway. But a friend of mine that I don't see too often usually goes, so I asked if she'd be there, and she said she would be. we hung out all night, actually danced, I bought a few drinks, she introduced me to a few people (it seems like she knows everyone there XD). It was fun to get dressed up and break out my awesome super high ankle boots.

I'm not much of a going to the bar type person, so the following are kind of shockers to me.. lol:
-Random guy was like "you're really cute, I'm not just saying that.." etc
-My friend was absolutely floored when she saw how long my hair's gotten!
-Random guy asked if I wanted a drink. No one random's every bought me a drink before
-Talked to the drummer of the band that night. He's a pretty cool guy! He's kind of in the same circle that my BF and my coworker know

And I walked home And my BF was like "You WALKED home? the whole way?" and I said "Yeah, I didin't want to wait another half hour for the bus, I was tired" lol. I'm silly.

So fun last night, I want to do that again

And today was awesome too.. I didn't leave the apartment at all. I slept really late, hung out with my bf (its amazing how little time we actually spend together, considering we live together), and got around to doing a few things I've been meaning to do. Just awesome, and exactly what I've been needing.

Aaaand... I only work two days this week, and then I'm going to Calgary for this next week! We're leaving on Friday! I"m so excited!
