I had a great day yesterday 
I worked at my part time job and went shopping with my coworker after. Got some new cookware on sale 
(hand me down teflon pots are lame, stainless steel is in!). I felt so great when i got home! I decided it would be a good idea to work on my portfolio stuff though, and spent the next 4 hours editing old works from highschool, and planning out the new pieces I'll have to write (and trying to find a program that would actually extract the audio from video, but it didn't work).
I'm not sure about my photo essay now... I think its going to be too hard to get together 5 different groups of people for 5 different photos, so I'm probably just going to go off of photos I've taken in the past. Besides trying to get people together for the actual photos, I've also got to factor in the time for getting the photos developed and mounting them somehow (I think I've got an idea for mounting at least).
The only things left to do are to write a poem (can probably find one somewhere XD), write a personal essay (getting ideas together for it will be the tough part), and then write some creative fiction. Then the title page and table of contents. Then I'll just drop it off at the college and see what happens.
Other than that... its been an epic 4 day weekend. Lame that I have to go back to work tomorrow though. I'm going to try to think more positively about my job though. What else can I do? Yeah, I still hate it, but I want to make things easier on myself. I'm also going to have to work more at my part time job (I don't think there's enough work for me to do to work overtime at my main job, besides, by the end of a 9 hour day, I'm done with that place XD) to save more money for my trip. It wasn't too bad working my full time job and two nights a week at my part time job, so I'll try to continue that trend till March I guess.
I guess I'll go for now though, lots to do. Hoping to hit up the grocery store soon/later? There's not much food in my place
