Life, life, life... life is good, except for the stupid guy that lives above me who's everyday noises seem much louder than they should be (walking around, tv really loud, I can here him and his friends talking, I sleep with ear plugs every night, etc). Can you tell me why someone would need to walk around continuously for 45 minutes at 2 in the morning? I've contacted the rental agency about him, talked to him, and talked to the caretaker many times. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to stick it out, especially since I'm set on going to Europe for a month in April 2010. less money going to rent, the better, and right now my rent is only about $400.
My question to you is: if you can't sleep in the middle of the night (whether from insomnia or being awoken by some dumbass that lives above you), what do you do to help you get back to sleep? What do you do to calm yourself enough to get back to sleep?
Work is quite bearable right now
. It just hit me the other day how much experience I'm getting from working this lame job, so I feel good about that. Also, me and the only other female designers (there are 3 of us together) went for sushi for lunch today. We bitched about the company XD. Its just nice to know that even the one designer that's been there for a year feels the same as me and the other junior designer. Kind of comforting. We bonded a bit XD
I also worked at job #2 tonight, and I felt really happy. Just in a good mood. Not sure why
I can't believe that tomorrow's Friday already. Seems like yesterday it was monday.
Also, I'm getting tendonitis from ballet D: I asked the teacher during class, and she said I'm probably pointing my foot the wrong way (as in, using the wrong muscles). She admitted she wasn't sure how to teach us to point correctly because its hard to explain (my class is an adult beginner ballet class). But, when you point your foot, you should engage your Achilles tendon at all. So I'm pointing to hard, and if I understand correctly, you should be using muscles on the bottom of your foot to make your foot point. Yeah.
So I'm supposed to rest it and ice it.
On the flip side, my turn out is getting better
And we start learning choreography next week for the show we're doing in March!
Other than that, I need to get going on figuring out my trip stuff. First step is a passport, second might be to see a travel agent and see what's up. For sure I want to do France and Germany. Finland would be cool too. I kind of want to visit 4 countries and hang out in them, experience the culture. I should figure out what I want to do in these countries
I was hoping HIM or the 69 Eyes might be having a concert somewhere when I go there. I'd love to see them live.
I guess I'll go to bed, and hopefully I sleep!
