So I'm an abstract/multimedia artist in NYC and I have this vision for a series of collaborative multimedia pieces and I need to find a good photographer (and models) to work with
See I want to paint using acrylics and other medium on a nude/topless woman. I want to highlight the curves, but be very textural.. Erotic not sexual, and then ask the photographer to stage her, then shoot the photo's. And the 3 of us can own/share rights to the images...
Sounds like a cool thing right? Take a look at how I use newsprint and tissue paper to break up the flatness of the canvas in "Hot Town" and "Blossom" on my Deviant art page http://run-matts-rabbit-run.deviantart.com/ .. I'd like to use the same techniques on the curves of a female model..
I see it as a collaboration between a photographer/model and myself.. it'll be way cool..
I've found a few hourly studio spaces that aren't too expensive in Brooklyn and Queens
