am getting more excited about my new place as time goes on...
M says he's planning on getting me a motor-scooter for christmas
i've always wanted one -one of the older body styles, not one of the body types nowadays where they're trying to make it seem like a motorcycle- and with gas prices being what they are & will likely be for a long time a vehicle that will get me 80 or so miles a gallon is a good thing. plus, they just make a cool eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnn sound.
the plan is to get one of the higher speed types so that i'll have my feet for shorter distance errands, my bike for the next longer, bus for the next, and scooter for long (but not long enough to break out the car) trips.
ideally, the car will get the most minimal of use between the two of us. should be used just for picking up large items or taking trips to our parents & such.
i've been watching the first season of the muppet show lately. so cute and nostalgic.
getting closer and closer to having the house ready for clearing. day after tomorrow the person comes by for pre-inspection.
it's been pretty dull around here lately, really. not much to tell...
am on day 4 of my fast & it's going well.
work is painfully dull. we have no customers most of the time this week... 7.5hrs of sitting and doing nothing. i've already cleaned the floors and counters and rearranged a billion times. the plants are thoroughly watered. *sigh*
feel like knee-capping my spouse and he's gone to the field and not contacted me in the past few days. digging his hole, that one.
that's it here right now. just working at the job and at home.
oh, and tidied all the gone-greys out of the friends list ^.
