well, i was gonna let it just keep going for a good long while, but apparently scrap can't count, so it's his fault we're stopping. go lynch him. 
anyways, time keeps on a-passin' and i got a letter in the mail the other day..... while the website involved seemed to indicate that i'd not been chosen, I GOT MY ACCEPTANCE TO NIJMEGEN 4 DAY WALK in the mail!!
i was so thrilled and freaked out that day that M and i went on a 20mile walk just to make me feel better. we walked from my front doorstep in kafteralwald into mannheim and then along the neckar river to a little past bismarkplatz in heidelberg. i felt so much better afterwards, the anxiety about the challenge greatly reduced as i still felt well enough to do an additional 5-10miles. yay!
tomorrow i'm going to the frankfurt tattoo convention with some folks from work & known-through. if any germany folk out there also plan on being there sunday in the afternoon (we'll be there for a few hours, wondering, if all goes well) and happen to see this, let me know and maybe we can say "hi".
am going to see about setting out some sg stickers at work if S doesn't mind, i've put some up and around in my travels through germany but it would be nice to try and generate some local interest through those i know are interested themselves in mods and such.

So you're going for the Nijmegen walk? You're nuts. I have a few friends (in the military just as I am) that have gone on the Nijmegen hike, and those bastards are crazy. It is an increadibly long haul. But if you can make it, you're more hard core than I am, and there is something about a girl that is tougher than I am that just does it for me.
