HOLY SHIT IT'S FRIDAY!






i only first realized this about an hour ago (9pm)... and i still keep forgetting & just reminded myself again.. oh, i've kown it's "friday" as in name-of-the-day all day... but not that it's FRIDAY, end-of-week-emotionally. you know?



signed up for two trips this coming month. on the 11th i'm going on a 1-day express tour of Paris & on the 12th i'm off to a german wine festival.

the Paris trip is just to get to go there & also to scout the territory for a later, longer trip without a tour group.

the wine fest is just cuz i love wine. well, not "just" that, but that's the basis, of course. i wish to go and sample and take notes on things i like and maybe drag home a bottle or two of favorites. husband and i are trying to expand our list of "likes" and start actually having a stock of them. coming to germany has been a warmth to this wine-country-raised one's heart.

so, two trips to keep me busy.

am running a minor fever and have a headache due to it. ugh. no idea why i'm having this problem suddenly, but it's no fun.
