I'm so excited! This weekend our local BDSM group has a demo and play night. I haven't participated in about a year due to illness and other engagements and am now getting back to involving myself in our group. It's going to be a rope demo and buffet/cookout + play party. I love demos of any sort, even if it's an area I'm not big on I enjoy hearing another person's take on it and learning a little something.
Play-wise, as always I'm hoping to get beaten but it may not happen... will just need to see what happens there with other folks. See if an opportunity arises.
I have a new friend who may be a potential submissive for me. We're going to give it a whirl and see how we mesh. I don't physically top much, I'm more just dominant by nature but I may feel like playing him that night... again, we'll see. We've talked it over and he seems very interested and has some experience so it's not like I'm dealing with a complete newbie again.
So all in all it should be a fun night. I'm going over early to cast the circle with the pagan (assumed) friend who is hosting and to help set up the dungeon. Also bringing a dish to pass at dinner. It's going to be a big day for me.
