so life is going pretty groovy over-all.
spouse took me to see the movie The Protector. we liked Tony Jaa's last movie alright so figured, "what they hey?", despite Tarantino's involvement in this one. it was so-so.
endless stuff needs done on the house. endless!
cats desperately need shaved, i have to take them this month sometime. Pixel is alright, but Jonesy -the shorter haired one!- is having hair issues. time for it to come off, at least shorter.
oh, two wildlife events lately with the house: found a milipede (7 inches long or so) in the house on one of my shoes. also, stepped out onto the back porch to feed the birds and surprisingly found that i'd stepped Over a very pissed-off black 4 foot snake. M got him out of the screened porch with a lot of long-distance prodding and he escaped to what we think is his home under the concrete of said porch. so now i open the door slowly and peer about haha.
what else...
am looking into my local options for schooling and volunteer work, will be nice to get back into both again.
Jonesy slept for 19hrs the other day. i was starting to get concerned haha. he'd lay there asleep with his eyes half-open but with each eyeball going in a different direction making these little half-purrs whenever i petted him. if he'd not gotten up at the 14hr point and ran to the bathroom, acting and looking normal, only to lay immediately back down and sleep the same way i'd've taken him to the doctor before long (i'd only realized he'd been laying like that so long at about 13+ hrs). it was creepy because you could talk to him, touch him, move him around and he'd just sleep right through it. i was starting to worry he'd gotten into something sick-making and dangerous until i saw him go to his kittylitter fine as can be, totally acting and looking normal. apparently, he just didn't care what was going on so long as we let him sleep. that night he was tearing through the house with monstrous energy, assumedly saved up throughout the day haha.
anyhow, nothing much going on here, just normal life. i've been enjoying the storms, so pretty.
