Ya...I bet you all wait for bunch of pictures from Tattoo convention and me ranting about how much fun I had....but naaaaaah...I decided not to go and stayed home instead, spending quality time with me, myself and I, bunch of horror movies, home made bread and cupcakes, good music, sun and snow, candles, good food and just enjoyed the silence and the calmness.
Last thursday I finally got to meet another doctor who specializes of the issues I've been having.
I got diagnosed: M51.1+ Lumbar and other intervertebral disc disorders with radiculopathy (G55.1*)
Sciatica due to intervertebral disc disorder.
Which in my situation means a slipped disc and a disc herniation in my L4-L5 which causes the sciatic nerve pain 24/7 as the herniation is pushing the nerve. He said that it will usually take about 3 months for these to heal as that's usually the time the herniation will dry out.
So...I have to be off work at least till 5th of may and then we will see what is the situation and if I still have symptoms then they need to think if they have to operate it as well as if this goes worse. He said that usually only 6% of the peeps that has this have to get surgery, so hopefully I am not included in that 6 %.
This doctor (thank goodness) also switched my medication which at least now helps better and i don't have to take so many different medication at the same time especially when they didn't help me at all, so now instead of 5, I take 2.
Aweeeeee well....Yet still...keeping positive and planning next summer and my trip to LA to see my VIP's.
I've been checking on some longboards during the weekend and noticed that Riviera company has somekind of a facelift...anyone who has their decs or has tried one? Cuz to me the boards seem pretty rad!!!!!!!!!
Ha crazy, eh....my back is pretty much hurting like hell and still I just can't wait to get on my board and carve the mountains <3
Today,
The sun has been up since the early morning...I'm getting bored at the house, so think I'm gonna go out and spend my day enjoying the sun and the spring time over my neck of the woods.
Life is a pretty good game, don't cha think...better make the best of it while you still can!!!!!!!!!!
Live life to the fullest, Don't let anything or anyone bring you down, Don't give up on your hopes and dreams, Accept, Learn, Love life, Love music, Don't worry too much, smile, laugh and Be Happy!!!
