Turns out he was drunk on absinthe and didn't remember what he'd written me. I phoned him when I came home from work. And the conversation was amazing; in that it wasn't stilted and full of pregnant pauses which is the usual. However...a comment along the lines of "the girl I'm seeing" was made. Which leads me to the conclusion that I'm cursed!

WHY do I always like the guys who already have the girlfriends?

Although this could just be completely casual dating of some sort. Seeing as I have only talked to him this once.
