I'd go for the AppleCare if you can afford it... especially with a laptop. Usually their stuff is really reliable, and it comes with a 1-year plan anyway, but with a laptop if something breaks it'll cost a fortune to fix. I've already had a keyboard replaced for free, and the damage was completely my fault. Their support is awesome.

mmm gelato, i like vanilla bean smile

There's one scene in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind that I really like. The memory Joel has of Clemantine when they're at the house on the beach, when she breaks in and he remembers he left, going over how he wishes he had reacted; that he had stayed. I'm just hearing it as my sister is watching it, but its a scene and a...

Have you ever seen Run Lola Run? If not, you should check it out. It's the same story repeated 3 times, but in each instance the characters make slightly different choices that change the ending drastically. I love it.

My elusive friend who I've yet to actually meet called, we were roughly planning to wander downtown after 10:30 when he leaves Tequila but decided against due to buses and such. I regret this already. He's gone next weekend so that won't work either.

My hair is cut but I'll take pictures when its complete tomorrow wink

I bought pink slippers and two books; The Many...

I love when people just show up to hang out with me smile Cruising Wednesday night after work, and then last night after multitudes of phone calls and halfway through Chasing Liberty again. OH I have half a cappucino in the fridge! Midnight Tim Hortons, the silliness. Holding hot liquid in a slammed vehicle + bumpy roads = not good.

Today should be awesome. Its sunny...

Working for 12 hours on Saturdays makes exciting weekend plans difficult. I am off to Kink night at Detours tonight, hopefully not all by me onesies, but that's about it...

I did take the wall down in the closet so that I could have a walk in but if I get a roommate soon which looks likely I'll have to put it back up.

Aww new picture!

Sleeping early last night worked well. I actually remembered this morning when I turned my stereo on that I had left it set on a 60 minute sleep playing Interpol's 'Turn On The Bright Lights' last night to make me sleep, and I do not recall listening to more than maybe half of the first song...so it worked brilliantly. Alas when I...

Just watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Strange ending. Pretty good movie.

This is the first night in a long time I think I'm going to try to sleep before the sun is down or its 10 o'clock.

Today sucked. Aside from the last two hours which I spent eating Subway and watching Chasing Liberty. I have a strange obsession with that movie and I have been craving to watch it for the past two weeks; I need to buy it but neither HMV nor Rogers had it. Everyone laughs when I proclaim my love of Mandy Moore movies...but honestly that movie made...

I'm with ya on the sickness. I hoped I didn't get sick at all on my days off, but it had to happen whatever . Get better, though, and hope you can find Chasing Liberty!

I should have had my camera with me today, not sure why I didn't. I could have snapped an amazing self-portrait in the change room at Smart Set AND a mapie perched on a street sign.

I spent 62 dollars on MAC today; foundation and two eyeshadows (Aquadisiac and Filament). Also purchase Big Fish and Fight Club, a bra and a white long t-shirt. On...

I spend grotesque amounts on DVDs every time I have spare money, it seems. Still Fight Club and Big Fish are worthwhile investments. Especially Fight Club.

I just got a letter from SAIT saying I have been accepted into the Travel & Tourism program. Which is good...I guess. It means I'm stuck in Calgary for two years (excluding next summer...fleee!) and probably stuck in this house for that time. However, by the end of it...I'll have some certificate and job with which to move to England for awhile and hopefully work...
