No, but seriously, life has hit the fast lane, fast! Hit the ground running, if you will. I am going to have an article published on 4/16 regarding a local band (D.C.) and just yesterday got recruited/commissioned/asked to translate/re-word 12 product descriptions for a company that sells coffee wholesale over the internet (there were some plagiarism/copy right issues, so they need the descriptions re-worded). I dunno how much I am going to charge per, and actually the article is a non-paid gig, but I am just happy to have something to do with my evenings. I love the live in life with my boyfriend, but I can only watch him play Halo II, Crackdown and Just Cause so many times. Oh, I also got a part time job at a local clothing store, so the discount, which is 40% is going to just fucking rock (I also can use said discount at any and all Hot Topic stores, which means I am going to be getting cd's for wayyyyyy cheap now!).
So, they say it's my birthday today. Do I feel older? Eh, not really, but I still can't believe I am 24. 24 used to seem SOOOOO cool and SOOOO much older, and then when you get there (and Debbie Gibson is no longer 'cool' and you have to pay taxes instead of getting the newest G'I' Joe figurine) it just feels kinda, bland. I certainly am not trying to say my life hasn't been fun thus far, it's just, well, it's just 24. I dunno, hopefully I'll get so drunk on Saturday that I can't see, or even feel, my way back to the metro. Now THAT will be the highlight of 24, I'm sure!
