Some stuff I don't like...
peas, brussel sprouts, winter, beets, homophobia, math, cigarettes, poverty, George Bush, Stephen Harper, being late, dust, people who don't tell their children "NO", being cold, cream sauces, SUV's & other big over-indulgent vehicles, laziness, seafood, cleaning the litter box, jealousy, suburbs, rap, hip hop.

I'm almost too embarassed to even talk about the election results. I am a bad bad citizen.

didn't vote, and so I am very happy that the party I was going to vote for was no where NEAR getting in in my riding. losing by one vote would have plagued me for years.

Shitty, I've been an active member of our voting society for a few years now, missed this one. bad me, bad.

free? me?.... that's a good question! I'd have to say weekends more than weekdays, but next week I am taking a couple of days off, so maybe we can squeeze something in then? I'd like that.

My production is non-existent. I'm way too into making myself shawls. I know, its terrible.
But I keep thinking, if my arm is going to be sore from knitting stuff for the show, then shouldn't I just screw it up on stuff for me.

Terrible reasoning, I know. I plan on going back to work this weekend.

Do you or have you lived in Las Vegas?
They are coming to Vancouver at the end of the month to recruit teachers & I have an interview.
What's rent like? Cool neighborhoods? General cost of living?
coolheart:
I try to live that way too. Just do what I want and let the pieces.......blah blah blah.....

Now with that said, much thought is still needed for the big stuff.

That is weird...I called there and asked for someone matching your description, and the guy woh answered the phone was very beligerent and said there was no one even close to the description I gave there. I was calling just to let you know I was running a little late and that was at ten after one. I ahd to wait for someone and I was rushing to get there...until he told me you weren't there :S

Stupid idiot (both him and me) I should have gone still...I knew that he was being an ass

Right now I'm watching Pretty in Pink on TV.
I love this movie but what I always remember most of all is the very first time I saw it back in the 80's as a teenager (in the theatre!), is that at the end, Annie Potts interesting, quirky, adult character totally sells out and changes her image to date a straight laced, conservative guy. I...

You know...I love your replies that you put....that made me laugh

Yep, I'm so confused right now. I wish I could look ahead to access my hindsight. This is all really driving me a bit batty. If I make the wrong decision, it's gonna cost me a couple years to get back to where I am now, not to mention probably $20,000 in pocket change.

UGH.

I appreciate the concern, but what works for you may not work for me.

Ever month I flush a rent cheque down the toilet and help build up my landlords personal equity. In Winnipeg I'll be able to buy a home (and I mean house) as soon as I get there.

I love your bags!!!

where might one purchase?

wink kiss skull

My husband list, in no particular order:

Nikki Sixx (yes really!)
Mike Ness
Evan Solomon ( CBC Sunday Newsworld, so smart he's hot)
Johnny Depp
Jai Rodriguez (yes I know he's gay)
Rich Hope (local Vancouver, tattooed, hottie rocker)

I'd like Johnny Depp and Mike Ness too. I think I could manage to divide my time between the two, how about you?
cerephinna:
I think most people would take Nikki Sixx deep down in their hearts love

I've added pics of a couple of my new summer 2005 bags, they're in my bags folder.
Not much new. I'm sick of student teaching & being observed. I can't wait for it to end.
I want to spend more time sewing as the summer market season starts in a month but I have a lot of school type stuff that has t take priority...

Hey, I just looked at your favourite bands - oh so similar to mine. That makes me smile, too. You're talented and have great taste in music, dearie!

hey, thanks for the support!
i read the journal entry of that boy who i properly schooled in dating sux, and it was all about drinking beer and being hung over. sometimes i wonder why i waste my words and waste my time getting insenced over someone who's that stupid, but oh well.
i see you are a teacher... i am too. nice to know there are cool people in the profession... sometimes its so hard to find like minded people. smile
aponia:
I've been so lazy about it its sad. I've been knitting so sporatically. I'm terrible! This weekend, between being hung over, hopefully i'll at least get a bag done!
