A recent observation of growing older...
20's = poor self esteem, ass hole - rock star boyfriends, crappy low paying jobs, drug indulgences, out 6 nights a week til the wee hours, no money, crappy friends who I though were great, lived in an awful city but I did have a hell of a lot of fun.
30's = great self esteem, amazing career with a great salary doing something I love AND I have a small business doing something I love, no more drugs, out 2 or 3 nights a week and usually in bed by 2am latest, way more money, ditched the crappy friends-kept the good ones and found even more good ones, better appreciation of what I have, live in fabulous Vancouver BC and I still have fun!
But I still love the bad boy, rock star, artist types. Some habits never end.
