Fuck it. I was supposed to detox today and spend the whole day consuming pure fruit juices and raw vegetables. I lasted until about 13:30 when I had to eat a rather large slice of humble pie and admit to myself that I just couldnt do it. So I had a coffee and a cigarette and booked myself an enema for next week.

Guess who got taken to the Ivy last night? Yes yes I know its over rated and rubbish and bla bla bla but it was fun and I tried to do some celeb spotting but only saw Janet Street Porter. Does she count? Then it was cocktails at the Sanderson which was rather lovely. It was a late birthday present from my 'platonic boyfriend' Aaron. He will murder me if he catches me calling him that again. He was the one who started it. He also gave me a voucher for a facial (so I shall have a facial AND an enema all on the same day. How exciting! Except in London we say 'colonic hydrotherapy' and not enema which sounds rather vulgar. And then, as if that wasn't enough he presented me with an ipod.

For real.

Insane. Sigh... presents are wicked. Even if they are only small and its just the thought. Now I just have to bring myself to read the hideous manual to figure out how to use the darn thing.
