Musings on a Saturday afternoon...

The gods must be on my side.

Whenever I have to get up and go to work after a heavy night, still battered, it always turns out to be a really slow and easy day. I end up eating vast quantities of free food

(today I had: a cup of peppermint tea, a a cup of camomile tea, a portion of garlic bread, a mango lassi, a blueberry smoothie, carrot and coriander soup, spinach and chickpea florentine and a slice of chocolate fudge cake).

.........

A wicked night last night. I went to Serge's birthday barbecue to start with... Serge is my friend Rashid's pet tortoise who was four yesterday. I fed him 3 green beans as a birthday present. Then another Candy's birthday party (who is a rather large and rather butch lesbian drug dealer with a shaved head who deals at terrifying-sounding gay clubs called things like 'Fist'. I gave her some nipple tassels as a birthday present). I danced for hours to hard house and actually managed to be very good and catch my last train home. I am really into my dancing at the moment... I seem to have a really long, hard dance about once a week at the moment and I can't remember the last time I danced so much. I love it.

..........

Time for a zoot in the hammock. Shall try and reply to some comments after that.

Nah, not really. I wanted to go for a bicycle ride with my girl. It was pretty nice weather, but when we wanted to leave clouds came in and it started raining.
So we stayed in and rented a movie.
Ever seen "One Man and His Dog"? Its hilarious. Bobby George, the darts player, is in it.

Well, the boyfriend and I had a wee picnic in the park. Watched some old movies at my fav cinema (The GFT in Glasgow). Oh how I missed that place. And spent some time with my nieces. Quite a quiet weekend really. Can't wait to move into my new place and have a big party, yipeeee!!! 3 weeks and counting.
