Don't let it bother you. Strip clubs should NOT be threatening. I went with my brother recently and it was hillarious. a guy sitting beside us asked my brother if I was his girlfriend and then got all embarassed saying "oh, sorry man, she's your sister... I thought she was your girlfriend... I was gonna say, you should get her to go up on stage. Sorry".

as if being his "girlfriend" would be less embarassing, as the guy admits he wanted to get me up on stage.
