WOW....amazing weekend....Nick Cave, turkish pizza, pida, Newtown goodness, new SG friends and corsets....
Ok, so I booked my bus ticket at midnight on Friday night, still packing at 3am, on the bus for central at 6.30am.
I hadn't slept for 2 days cause I was so excited!!
I arrived at Central at about 12 ish on Saturday, got to Enmore, checked out Gallery serpentine and bought some cool spider & crystal earrings. PlatyPuz met me outside the Enmore Theater YAY!! I was super excited, overtired and a little overwhelmed. . PlatyPuz and i walked to his place, he helped me with my bags, pink really suits him!
We had a chat, and some tea and then I had to nap for a couple of hours.
We met up with Faetree, Milli, Barry_Anthony, Helly, BurningLevi and e1e.
Miss
Faetree is such a sweet, gorgeous girl....and Barry_Anthony you rock!!
After catching up and having a few drinks we went to see Grinderman...............................................wow........................and wow again................................
IT WAS AMAZING!! Nick Cave is so divine, so beautiful and he sounds awesome. I want to have his baby, in fact twins even....
More vodka, more Nick Cave, *sigh*, IT WAS WICKED!! and Grinderman sounds fucking great. I love their stuff.
Unfortunately I wore my very high platform shoes, bad idea, alas, very sore feet....and my long skirt with a train got ripped, but i don't care....cause it's rock n roll....
We had pida and went to the Townie afterwards for a couple of drinks. I LOVE NEWTOWN!!
I love to people watch and see how the humans interact with each other....

On Sunday I slept in a bit, oops, didn't mean to, got up about 12, tea and croissant, very nice.
we went for a wander up King st, had a look at some cool shoes....big shoes....(can't help myself)....and had cake and milkshakes and chai latte and fruit frappes, it was lovely.
Sunday night PlatyPuz and i met up with ContessaKatarina and her man, H, you 2 are brilliant, so wonderful....made me laugh, intelligent, gorgeous, funny, lovely and great conversation.
What a beautiful woman....Mr H is so lucky to have you....
We stayed until it was closing time, and the pub had turned the lights off, i think that's a hint to leave....
More turkish pizza or pida, eggplant pida in fact, I love it, with lots of lemon juice. Fell asleep watching Black Adder.
The futon is so comfy, must get one, one day.
Back on the bus at 1pm on Monday and home Monday night.
The bus at night is so magical and mesmerizing, other worldly....
I needed a fun weekend, away from everything....thank you Mr Mark....
Planning my next adventure, either burlesque in sydney this weekend or Halloween in Newcastle next week.
