So, my first day at work for Ticketek in the Melbourne Office is ended.

I'm having a sleepless night, obviously. This is mostly due to the mention by one of my new work-mates that she is going away for six weeks in just a couple of weeks. To finish my course or not to finish my course? Ah, that is the question. She is full-time, so money shouldn't be a worry. I may just do half of her holiday, which spans most of my term hols... yes, that would be sensible.. something I am resolutely not. But, isn't it a bit decadent to fly a round trip to the same place twice in a month?

Well, it would be... if I weren't coming back in style: on rails. Yup. First class, biatches!

I'm getting the night train - it's only 10 bucks more than a flight, and I get a sleeper car, lots of room and the bar! Night bird's delight. I must be mad, but I've always wanted to take a long train journey. Ah, the romantic in me rears its dusty head once more.

My God, but I love this place. I actually cried when we touched down. How sad is that?
