This year for spring break I am going to Mexico for five days of pure mayhem and all the like. Ruben called me last week and invited me along, but I declined because I thought that certain people were going to be there. Last night he told me that none of them are going and it is just going to be me and whole lot of strangers. Perfect.
We are hiding away at his friend's house. Apparently, his family owns the hole neighborhood in which we are staying. For some reason, that makes me a little uncomfortable.

Ruben's spring break starts a week before Chans, so I am going to do the Mexico thing and then spend her spring break doing whatever she wants to do and crashing at her place.

I am surprised my manager actually gave me the time off. As soon as I filled out the request, she rearranged my schedule and didn't punish me or throw any snide remarks. Today has been nice.
