There was no punishment awaiting me at work today. There was no whispered cautions or evil glares at all. It was like nothing even happened. My manager actually came up to me and said hello. Strange. I think Andrea (the supervisor) covered for me. If that is true, I am completely in awe right now. I never even implied that she should do anything about it. I was ready to reap the consequences of my actions, and she came to my rescue. I am glowing. I couldn't care less about the punishment, it's the fact that someone did that for me because they genuinely wanted to.
