My friend was supposed to come from FL to visit. But, being responsible and fucking accomplished she's buying a house, so she's not coming up after all. She's getting 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths for $89,000.
She was supposed to come up, and she was gonna go to All Points Festival to see Tool. Since she's not going she told me she'd give me the tix. At FIRST, so be honest I doubted I was going to even go. I don't really dig Tool (I know! SG fan faux pas!), and Coldplay's cute and all, but as far as soulful piano ballads go, I think they're pretty sub par (sorry!).
I was just looking at the National's web site, the day before I start my vacation from work, they're playing a show in NY, I tried to see if tix were available... alas, they're not, only tickets to the ferry.
Until I look again at the name of the festival... All Points... Why does that sound so... (This is were my room starts to smell because I pooed my pants). HOLY SHIT. I'M GONNA NEED THEM FERRY TICKETS BITCHES. I'm going to see the National. FUCK YES. FUCK YES.
I'm so in love with them right now. My favorite band is Depeche Mode all the way, I can't lie. My second fave for a while was Editors. But after getting EVERYTHING EVER by the National, I'm in love. They're offically number two. And not because they don't deserve the number one spot... they do. But I love Depeche Mode far too much for anyone to ever rival them. I like they're bad songs MOST, it MUST be love.
