I think you are overreacting. But it's understandable, especially considering our "past".

But certainly you can't be surprised that people would take potshots at you. While some people on here may "get you" or know you personally and know the "real you", the rest of us only see what you show us - and more often than not it is incessant negativity at the very least, if not full on "piss on the poor uninitiated un-hip schlumps" side of you. Put simply: You come off as a real prick, and even worse you seem like you know you're a prick and actually enjoy being a prick, which pisses people off even more.

It's sad - I think if we met in person we'd get along famously. I think we're very similar (more than perhaps either of us would like to admit) - but what you show of yourself online really rubs a lot of people (myself included) the wrong way. I would like to be your friend, but then I see you go off and lay into someone and I'm like, "Fuck, what an asshole..."

Of course, I'm sure people would say similar things about me. wink

Re: Stones Roses. Hell yeah, me too. I burn it bundled with the EP that had "Fools Gold" on it, so it's pretty much the perfect album.

Soulseek is a free file-sharing program that is great for getting whole albums by obscure people, and you have a friends list like AOL or something, with whom you can browse each other's files. I'm keithdok on there.
