BOREDOM
Well, I say what I mean
I say what comes to my mind
Because I never get around to things
I live in a straight, straight line
You know me, I'm acting dumb
You know the scene, it's very humdrum
Boredom
Boredom
Boredom
Well, I'm living in this movie
But it doesn't move me
I'm the man that's waiting for the phone to...

HELLO, IT'S E.
Maybe I should explain a few things about the origins of SOULJACKER. People keep asking me "what is a SOULJACKER?"
Originally the press coined the term "Soul Jacker" for an American serial killer in the 1990s that claimed to not only kill,...

Thanks for the comment on my musical tastes. I tend to think they are quite good as well.
I'm the youngest of four and by virtue of the fact that I was exposed to so many things at such a young age it made me very sensitive to avoid what I felt was crappy and redundant. It really takes an awful lot of originality and creativity for me to get in to a band.
I love your nickname, btw.

DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last...

I just read your post about mormons, and believe me I am NOT defending them in any way, but my grandparents are devoted fully to the mormon church and I went to church with them and talked to the dudes on bikes with ties and short sleeve shirts, a lot when I was younger, and I honestly never heard them mention anything about a talking lizard...but maybe they left that out. I was just wondering where you heard it. Is it in the book of mormon? Also, I was reading old newspaper articles from new york, and a couple of them were talking about the theft of a book that a man had written, and left at a local printing house until he could afford to have it printed. One of the men suspected to be the theif was Joseph Smith, but he was nowhere to be found...he later emerged from the forest saying he had spoken to an angel. Also, Joseph Smith had been a well known swindler, he would travel around town with a "magic" rock under his hat, bury some money somewhere and tell people that his rock was blessed and that he could find treasures with it. The people would follow him and watch him unearth these riches and then he'd sell them the rock for a pretty penny. He did this over and oer and was even arrested for it.

CRACKED ACTOR
I've come on a few years from my Hollywood highs
The best of the last, the cleanest star they ever had
I'm stiff on my legend, the films that I made
Forget that i'm fifty cause you just got paid
Crack, baby, crack, show me you're real
Smack, baby, smack, is all that you feel
Suck, baby, suck, give me your head...

PANIC IN DETROIT
He looked a lot like Che Guevara, drove a diesel van
Kept his gun in quiet seclusion, such a humble man
The only survivor of the National People's Gang
Panic in Detroit, I asked for an autograph
He wanted to stay home, I wish someone would phone
Panic in Detroit
He laughed at accidental sirens that broke the evening gloom

it's just a rant, that's what journals are for, right? it doesn't mean there's any "drama", just a moment of frustration that manifested itself in a rant.
and, contrary to what you may think, i do have a life outside of sg. why do you think that i'm speaking to someone here?
see? i'm in a crabby mood, is all. sugar crashes suck wang.
but i do appreciate your belittling comment in my public journal.

is that a sincere sad face or a jokey one? I just uhh, am a bit confused...if one is self-censoring, is that a sad thing? For someone as weird as me, self-censorship is definitely a good thing.
