I dropped it by the side of the lake.
The ancient lake.
She bounds from cloud-to-cloud leaving an everlasting mark.
Challenging all who step in our path.
Like an angel of the night.
She held me tight.
I could get lost in her eyes, trapped by her soul, caged by her words.
Lost in my passion for her.
Wanting more and more.
To the ancient Lake she rode the snake, 7 miles to the end.
She comes again.
The day ends and night begins.
I sleep alone wanting waiting.
Dreaming of the one who bounds from cloud-to-cloud.
Kissing her marks as I track her down.
Drawn to her by passion.
I sit and stare watching her as she dances near.
Her dark skin shimmers of gold.
Her eyes sparkle like diamonds.
Her hair is made of snakes hypnotizing me as they sway in the wind.
Telling me to move closer.
Not afraid I move.
You are beautiful I whisper.
She says nothing.
Only wipes a tear from my eye, and kisses my lips.
A poison enters my soul feeling it with love, ecstasy, and passion.
Instantly knowing all she has seen and done.
All of her pain and anger.
With all of her energy coursing through my veins I hold her close.
Discovering love and all its pain.
Like a wild bird she cannot be caged.
Tearing her home apart shouting set me free.
With a smile she leaves.
