Tonsils have gone down. They were replaced with icky sinus crap but that is almost over as well. Yay!

I was talking with my boy last night about our wedding. We had a long talk about the history of our relationship...which started when I was 18! During that conversation, it occurred to me that I really love the reason I am getting married.

-It's not because Im 35 and I feel my clock is ticking- I am perfectly fine with the possibility that I won't have a child.

-It's not because I have been searching for a husband all these years- I am perfectly fine on my own and never felt like I HAD to get married.

-It's not because I feel this is the natural progression of our relationship. I've known him since I was 18. We were together for 6 years and apart for 2- I am in no rush.

-It's not because I am afraid of being alone- again, just fine on my own and I have always had a great time in my life.

I am getting married because I spent 2 years away from him and STILL wanted to share with him, every day, fun things that happened...things that pissed me off...etc. I am getting married because I know I really don't want anyone else. I am getting married because I KNOW that I don't want to spend the rest of my life without him.

I really like that reason.
