I always thought I wanted to have a daughter of my own. But after being around 6,000+ girls (ages 10-20) for the whole weekend. I can confidently say that I am perfectly happy with two boys. I also never gave much merit to the whole "girls' periods sync up." Apparently this is freaking fact. I had my period less than two weeks ago and after being around all those girls I am totally on mine AGAIN! Sonovabitch!
I learned a lot this weekend though. Mostly that teenage girls are still the same bitchy, bratty, skanks that I knew when I was a teenager. It's nice to know things never change. It also gave me a chance to use my grownup intellect on them and fuck with their minds a bit. All in all it was a good weekend. I am prepared for next year for sure. Bring it on bitches!
My boy Aidan graduated from Preschool yesterday which was just another step closer to starting his grade school days. We went out today and got him a backpack. He got up and spoke into the mic and announced a song that his class was going to sing. He did very well. He later told me he was scared. I couldn't help but feel proud. He's a good kid.
