Well I'm not from the area, I'm actually from Michigan, but I met a really cool guy from Washington that you should talk to, his name is Skywisdom I forget exactly where though, and he's gonna slap me cuz he always tells me, but look him up.

Also, really the only way to make friends here it seems is by commenting on peoples blogs, or by being a complete whore and just clicking on "add friend" and seeing how many people accept. Everyone on the site (that I've met) has been really cool and open. Don't limit yourself to just your area, expand!

Take my blog for instance, make some sort of comment, don't be shy! Hell you don't even have to read it, in fact I'm convinced most people don't read blogs, and just comment.
