OK, it's time for my post-party journal update.

The Portland party was crazy. Tony, frekle, and I drove down Saturday. We got some food, and went and saw the movie "Frida"... it was really good. Then there was the party. There were so many god damn people there! And I get all nervous around big groups of strangers... but once I got pretty drunk (2:30am), I loosened up and had a good time. It was great to meet all you new people!!

But I must say... the best part... was my FIRST BURN! I got to light up my brand new staff for the first time! It was fucking incredible I'm not that good yet because I've only had a few lessons, but I had a few key moves mastered and just did those. Man, I had a huge grin the entire time, teehee! The sound was amazing... oh I can't wait to get better and better and burn again! It was great.

So yeah, fun party times, then food and "Down and Out With the Dolls" the next day. It was a pretty cool movie, I enjoyed it. Then the trip back, and back to my kitties! I miss them like crazy when I'm gone.
