First -- thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. I was planning on responding to everyone, but once the comment count hit over 80... but I did read each and every one. Thanks again

Here's the run down on my birthday weekend:

Thursday.
I went to the airport Thursday morning to pick up whatisthelight, a good friend from Seattle. We came back to the apartment and just hung out. Thursday night daveunderthebed came over with Cranium, and me, him, vikpreZ and whatisthelight got drunk and played that. Dave and I kicked their asses. Like whoa.

Friday.
Friday was chill. Showed Jason around Burbank, went to the mall, etc etc. Came back and watched Pirates of the Carribean with the same crew from Thursday night.

Saturday.
Weee! Last night was great. We started out at the bowling alley. A super rad, awesome old school bowling alley that will become my new hangout. A good number of SGLA kids came out and I got to meet some new people as well as hang with some of my favorite people. And thanks to EricAllen and Jujubee for the rad gifts, and jasechase for the rad card. And thanks to Xanaxboy for the t-shirt. I bowled a game (very badly) and got drunk. Then we went into the bar where they had KARAOKE. Which I'm obsessed with. So I sang my old standard, Funky Cold Medina. I also sang "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls with Maxx. Oooh, good times. From there we hit up Bar Sinister, where I got more drunk and danced on a box. Met up with some more people there, new and established, and had a blast. We finally left there right around closing time, and Maxx bought some of us sausages from the street sausage man. Yummy. From there I went home, and passed the fuck out.

So yeah, I had a rad birthday, and thanks to everyone who helped make my first birthday in LA (and my third birthday on SG ) awesome.
