I am unemployed, and very near broke. Yet for some reason -- I'm in an AMAZING mood!! Wanna know why? Check it:

I went to karaoke last night, and had the most fun at karaoke that I've had in a long time. And I got drunk, from drinks my wonderful friends bought for me.
My long time, best friend in the whole wide world from Virginia sent a check in the mail, helping me out SO much.
I have... let's see... four *really* good job leads. All of which I've already interviewed for.
I finally got off my ass, and I'm *completely* cleaning my apartment, and that feels really good.
I get to hang out with the super lovely Adore today.
I LEAVE FOR PROM TOMORROW NIGHT!
Related to the above, I get to see my super duper sweetheart in a couple of days!
And related to the above, that same sweetheart is wonderful, and making me so very happy.

So you see, even when life is shit, it's still awfully damn cool to be alive!
