I'm going to steal Elise's and Flick's kitties. Cuteness overload.
In other news, I almost burned down my apartment last night. I got home from volunteering at the zoo and preheated the oven. Forgetting that I had a huge plastic bowl with leftover popcorn in there so that my cats wouldn't eat it. I was on the phone with EricAllen when I opened the oven to put my pot pie in there, and these huge flames rushed out at me. I told him I had to go because I had to fight a fire. I finally got it under control, but my kitchen is flooded from all the water I had to throw in there. And the place was full of smoke, the alarm wouldn't shut up. I coughed up stuff all night from breathing it all in.
But I'm OK! YAY! My kitties are OK! YAY! (Though there were pretty well freaked out.) And my apartment's OK! YAY!
My oven, however, is ruined. Go me.
